Budget Saving Tips
- Money-savings coupons are available from many sources. Of course, you can clip coupons from the Sunday supplement section of your local newspapers. But don't forget to check for online coupons.
- Look for French's and Frank's RedHot money saving coupons on the home page of our website. Most consumer product companies offer coupons for their products. Don't forget to also check out your grocery store's website for weekly specials and additional coupons. So when you are preparing your shopping list, search for coupon offers and print these before going to the store.
- Purchase ground beef, chicken and chops in family-size bulk packages. These are usually less expensive than items packed in 1 lb. amounts. Just repackage the meat in tight resealable plastic bags in amounts that meet your family needs. Remember to label the contents, and the date of purchase. Freeze what you don't need. Then take out smaller packages of ground meat, etc. and thaw safely overnight in the refrigerator. Never thaw frozen food on the kitchen counter.
